April in Wörrstadt persönlich kennen lernen.

#energiewende #jobmitsinn

A wise person once said, 'If you don't invest in risk management, it doesn't matter what business you're in, it's a risky business.' Large-scale solar projects entail a unique set of construction challenges that require careful management. Find out what they are and how our team navigates these risks in mining projects. https://lnkd.in/dT_pP9-q #Mining #Sustainability #Solar

#MVV #WirbegeisternmitEnergie #Windpark

It is a lighthouse project for a climate-friendly energy supply in the industrial sector: the ten-megawatt Gesmold solar park developed by JUWI will in future supply solar power via a direct line to the plant of injection-moulded plastic packaging manufacturer SPIES Packaging. 🌱 The issue of sustainability plays an important role for our project partner SPIES. 🔌 Equally important for the industrial company with around 430 employees is a cost-effective power supply at easily calculable prices. With the Gesmold solar park, SPIES can now score points both economically and ecologically. 🔧 Construction work began in mid-March. From late summer 2024, the clean electricity from the solar park not far from the plant site will flow directly into the plant via a 2.3-kilometer underground pipeline. ☀ The park will then produce around ten million kilowatt hours of green electricity per year. SPIES intends to consume 70-80 percent of the electricity itself at the plant, with the remainder being fed into the power grid. https://lnkd.in/eKa-7Tvp #solarenergie #industriestrom #energiewende

JUWI celebrates 15 years in Greece: Together with numerous business partners, we celebrated the inauguration of our new office location in Athens yesterday. At the same time, our team around managing director Takis Sarris can look back on 15 successful years in the Greek solar market.   📆 In 2008, the JUWI Group entered the Greek solar market with five experts in renewable energies, and we founded our own national company and moved into its first offices at Elliniko, near Athens. Today, JUWI employs around 60 experts in the Greek capital for the planning, development and construction of ground-mounted PV projects.   🌞 In the past 15 years, JUWI has implemented over 100 PV systems in Greece with a total output of around 320 megawatts. These include the internationally known Kozani solar park in northeastern Greece, which is one of the largest PV projects in South-Eastern Europe  with a capacity of 204 MW. For comparison: We started our business in Greece with a 0,1 MW system 2008 in Astakos, Western Greece.   👉 Our Managing director Takis Sarris looks at the development with some pride: “I would like to thank our employees for their loyalty and hard work. Their outstanding performance is the key to our success. I would also like to sincerely thank our customers for trusting their assets to us for more than 15 years. Our partnership is crucial to JUWI’s success, and we are truly grateful for it. Finally, I would like to express my deep appreciation for our longtime partners, suppliers and subcontractors, who have significantly supported us for the implementation of our projects. We have had 15 wonderful years in Greece!"    🚀 He is also looking ahead with optimism to the development of the Greek market for renewable energies: “JUWI will build over 450 MW of photovoltaic capacity by the end of 2027, and a further 400 MW is planned by 2030. The number of employees in Greece is expected to increase to around 120 in the next few years.”

Our company's daycare center juwelchen in Wörrstadt is celebrating its 15th birthday this year. Happy birthday, dear juwelchen! And above all: thank you dear daycare team. 👩👧👦 For the children, juwelchen is a great place where they can learn, discover and feel good. 🎨 They research, bake and cook, do crafts, go for walks, do gymnastics, sing and read. 🔬 As a certified "House where children do research", our daycare center offers children age-appropriate experiments for a playful approach to the natural sciences.  🌱 By playing outside every day, cultivating the kitchen garden and taking trips to the forest, the teachers give the children a feeling for nature and raise their awareness of sustainability. 🌎 The juwelchen is also a bilingual kindergarten. Thanks to an English-speaking member of staff, the children have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the English language in a variety of everyday situations and through singing and reading. It's no wonder that parents still rave about the daycare center and especially its staff years later. ❤️
