4. Conference for Wind Power Drives (CWD) – 12th&13th March 2019

The Center for Wind Power Drives of the RWTH Aachen University invites researchers, operators and developers in the field of wind energy in the Eurogress Aachen on the 12th and 13th of March 2019. As in the previous years the CWD enables the participants an exchange of the current status of technology of wind energy in the fields of drive trains, pitch- and yaw-systems as well as concepts on park level. Like at the last conferences a great number of presentations with following inspirational discussions are being held. Use this opportunity to present your research results and newest ideas to interested people from multiple countries and jobs and to exchange with other operators and researchers as part of a conference!

In parallel to the conference, there is going to be an exhibition in the foyer of the Eurogress. Take the advantage of presenting your company, organization and/or ideas concerning wind energy to the visitors of the conference or inform yourself of new innovations and possibilities of partners and other participants at the different booths.

As part of the conference program, an additional tour of the hanger of the Center for Wind Power Drives is being offered. Within the tour you have the possibility to visit the 4 MW-test stand and get to know the current works at the RWTH Aachen. In the evening of the first conference day, the 12th March, we also invite you to a festive Gala dinner in the historical coronation hall of the town hall of Aachen.

In the manner of previous years, the Drive Train Technology Conference (ATK) 2019 is taking place simultaneously to the CWD 2019. You are going have the possibility to buy a combination ticket for both events.
