Energy Storage China will be held concurrently with Smart Energy China on September 19-21 2018 in Tangshan city

The organizer of Energy Storage China (ESC) and Smart Energy China (SEC) recently announced that the two leading events in China’s energy industry will now be held concurrently at Tangshan Southlake Convention and Exhibition Center on September 19-21 2018.

Energy Storage China (ESC) is the most influential industry conference and exhibition in China’s energy storage industry, which is also a leading platform for innovative storage technologies in energy system and network’s next era. Smart Energy China (SEC) is more broadly oriented and includes not only storage technologies, but also micro-grid, PV energy, multi-energy, big data and smart generation and distribution of energy. It is the most authoritative event in the smart energy industry and the most commanding platform for the commercialization of smart energy technologies.

Responding to the dynamism in the Chinese market and with full support from Tangshan Government, these two influential events will be merged in 2018, aiming to become the No.1 platform for China’s energy technology industry of the future. As part of the new strategy, both events will be closely integrated to present the “Energy System of the Future” in both exhibition and conference sectors in a consistent and integrated manner. In addition, important topics will also cover sector coupling, future impulses for the energy network, as well as the connection with digital topics (e.g. IoT, block chain and mobile applications). Electro-mobility, which is now growing rapidly in China, also stays in focus.

Key exhibitors and sponsoring associations have already promised full support in implementing the new strategy, to be carried out in close coordination with international associations, such as the BVES, and the other events of the Energy Storage Series of Messe Düsseldorf in Germany, USA, India and Japan. Due to combined synergies, the upcoming event is set to bring more than 150 honored speakers and attract over 6,000 professional visitors to network and exchange crucial matters in the energy industry.

Tangshan is the ideal location for these two events, being an industrial city with a long history and rich culture.
