After the Primary summit was before the wind summit. On 22.3.2023, the BMWK invited various stakeholders to discuss strategies in connection with accelerating the expansion of wind energy.
Mr Habeck has recognised the signs of the times. In order to become/be fit for the future, there is no way around the expansion of renewable energies. As is well known, an essential pillar for the expansion of renewables is the expansion of wind energy. In order to make significant progress here, Minister Habeck invited to the first wind summit at the BMWK on 22.3.2023 and presented the cornerstones of an onshore wind energy strategy. Similar to the PV strategy, the ministry has identified 12 fields of action in which goals are defined and the corresponding measures are presented. The key issues paper is now being consulted. The results of the consultation process are to be presented at the second wind summit in spring 2023.
