Jede Ebene könnte mit Instrumenten zur Messung der Windrichtung, der Windgeschwindigkeit und anderer meteorologischer Parameter ausgestattet werden. Der Windmast wird derzeit für Prototypenanlagen eingesetzt, indem unter anderem die Leistungskennlinie verifiziert wird.
