wpd was founded in 1996 with the aim of planning wind farms in Germany. Today, we are the market leader and have implemented projects with a capacity of 2.5 gigawatts. Over the next few years, we are pursuing a strong pipeline of 6.7 GW onshore and 10 GW offshore.
In recent years, the focus has increasingly shifted abroad, so that today projects from South America to Asia are supported by the wpd Group. We have 860 employees committed to the continuous expansion of renewable energies.
