Investment Case

The portfolio is aimed in particular at experienced operators of the ENERCON E-40 and, thanks to the combination of 500 kW, 600 kW and hybrid configurations, offers interesting prospects for continued operation and use. Since central components such as generators, rotor blades, pitch systems and power cabinets vary depending on the design, possible maintenance and spare parts synergies should be evaluated specifically at the component level.

In addition, three functional 500 kW E-40s from external repowering projects are available, which are suitable for second-life use as well as for the extraction and use of components.

Asset Overview

3x ENERCON E-40/500 kW

Commissioning: 1998Hub height: 65m1,5 MW

Approved repowering at the site; implementation by external companies.
The three existing turbines will be dismantled and sold separately; repowering rights are not part of it.
Functioning 500 kW systems - interesting as a second-life asset or component reserve for technically compatible E-40 stocks; compatibility must be checked on a case-by-case basis.
Extensive operational, revenue and service history available.

1x ENERCON E-40/500 kW

Commissioning: 1998Hub height: 65m0,5 MW

Site land owned by the seller.
Continued operation report: technically possible in principle until 06/2038, subject to tests and conditions.
Historical annual yields typically approx. 0.7-0.8 GWh.
Current technical need for repair (main warehouse); site development/repowering to be additionally examined.

2x ENERCON E-40/600 kW

Commissioning: 1999Hub height: 65m1,2 MW

Site land owned by the seller and intended for transfer.
Long-standing ENERCON service and earnings history; existing direct marketing/fixed price structure.
According to the available reports, continued operation is possible until approx. 2030/31, subject to current tests.
600 kW configuration with main components different from 500 kW versions; technical synergies only selective. Additional site/repowering value is being examined.

2x ENERCON E-40/500 kW (Hybrid)

Commissioning: 1999Hub height: 65m1,0 MW

Continued operation report for both wind turbines until at least 05/2039, subject to regular inspections and maintenance.
Historical park production approx. 1.3-1.5 GWh p.a.
ENERCON EPK service history; Hybrid configuration within the E-40 family - Component compatibility with other E-40 versions to be checked individually.
Location/property position as well as possible future development are the subject of further due diligence.
