Seldom has a technical feature triggered so many discussions as the BNK. One thing is certain: The obligation of the plant operators to equip the plants with a BNK system is intended to further increase acceptance among the population. However, the binding start date was repeatedly pushed back because either the technical requirements were not yet in place or simply not a sufficient number of components were available for the system as a result of the Corona crisis.
