30–40 MW wind farm project in eastern Germany

For sale is an onshore wind farm project in eastern Germany with a planned total capacity of approx. 35 MW. The development is well advanced: The necessary BImSchG applications have been submitted and the approval process is at an advanced stage. According to current project planning, approval is expected shortly.

Several modern wind turbines in the 6-7 MW class from an established manufacturer are planned. The site offers attractive wind conditions; the independently assessed yields suggest an annual net energy yield of over 100 GWh (P50).

The development to date is based on extensive expert reports and long-term contractually secured land rights. There are yield-based lease agreements for land use. The property owners involved are involved in the planning, which also takes into account municipal and regional interests.

Several options for grid connection are currently being examined at the high-voltage and extra-high-voltage level. This also includes the possibility of planning the necessary infrastructure together with other market participants.

In addition to the currently planned wind farm, additional secured areas offer potential for further turbine locations. This opens up the opportunity for project developers, energy suppliers and institutional investors to take on an advanced project and develop it further in the future.
