Founded in 2003, 8.2 Obst & Ziehmann GmbH (8.2 O&Z) is part of the 8.2 Group, which is a network of technical experts founded in Germany in 1995. Over the past 20 years, the 8.2 Group has developed both in Germany and in various countries around the world. Today, the companies of the 8.2 Group employ 130 people in all areas of renewable energies.
In the field of wind energy, the Group's technical expertise is based on the technical inspection of more than 40,000 wind turbines worldwide. The practical experience gained during these audits enables us to provide our clients with a practical view of consulting services, such as technical due diligence. The services carried out by the 8.2 Group comprise around 20,000 MW TDD projects (on-/offshore wind & PV). In addition, the comprehensive consulting services are based on the performance of 5.0 GW of condition monitoring (4.0 GW offline, 1.3 GW online) as well as more than 4.2 GWp of PV projects for our more than 5,000 customers in 40 countries
