ABICON GmbH

Founded in 2007 by the current managing partners Dr. Andreas Möller and Thomas Knieling, ABICON GmbH offers its expertise with a focus on wind energy, photovoltaics and biogas across all phases of project development, from site acquisition to commissioning, and provides support in commercial and technical management.
Four principles form the basis of our work as project developers:

With the implementation of the world's most demanding environmental management system, EMAS, we are committed to continuously improving our operational environmental performance beyond legal requirements. The primary goal of ABICON GmbH is to develop concepts that work in an economically sustainable way and increase regional value creation. Our team sees itself as a moderator between authorities, land owners, energy suppliers, municipalities, citizens and investors in all processes. In this sense, nature conservation and renewable energies are not in opposition to each other, but go hand in hand.
Since 2015, ABICON GmbH and its shareholder GP JOULE have formed a strategic partnership for the best possible implementation of existing projects and for overcoming future challenges. A constantly growing and ambitious team of agricultural engineers, geographers and environmental specialists works together to realize the ABICON vision – the continuous expansion of renewable energies for a clean environment.
