Green-Ener-Tech was founded in 2000 by engineer Carsten Sorensen.
In 2000, the Danish government coined a repowering program with the aim of reducing the number of small turbines and building larger MW turbines.
This now covers about 35% of electricity consumption in Denmark.
According to the Danish government's expansion plans, the share is to be 50% by 2020.
As part of this program, around 2000 turbines were converted.
During this time, Green-Ener-Tech has dismantled and exported about 600 turbines.
