HAWE Hydraulik offers hydraulic controls for wind turbines. These controllers are offered in a modular design and with components "from the modular system". Manufacturers of wind turbines thus receive high-quality but cost-efficient solutions. The modular design also meets the manufacturers' requirements for technical flexibility with easy handling. Modular design means that every hydraulic function is represented in one module, for example for the rotor brake, tower rotation brake, rotor locking, but also for the pitch adjustment of the rotor blades, nacelle roof opening or for permanently installed on-board handling cranes. The function modules are mounted on a valve control block, which only contains the pressure relief valve and pressure filter and enables the connection for the hydraulic consumers. This is built directly on the compact pump unit. Adding or removing functions afterwards is possible without much effort. The controllers are suitable for wind turbines that generate an output of 10 kW to several megawatts. Hydraulic solutions are particularly efficient in large plants with their high power density. HAWE Hydraulik manufactures all pressure-loaded parts from steel. This enables a compact design and makes the components resilient. Since the components are designed for higher pressures than required in wind turbines, they are in use for a particularly long time. Advice and sales are always provided locally at the customer's premises by seven bases in Germany, 16 subsidiaries and around 30 sales and service partners worldwide. Currently, around 2,000 employees work in the HAWE Group. Production takes place at five locations in Germany.
