Helix Wind Corp manufactures and sells an innovative wind turbine.
The turbine is designed in form of a helix allowing wind from all directions to initiate movement. This movement is converted into electric energy, which is fully powering your home, when the windspeed is high enough.
When the wind speed is lower than 10 mph the Helix is not able to spin and your housing will be power by the grid as usual.
There are currently two versions available. A small one, offering up to 1,962 kWh/yr and a big one, offering up to 3,362 kWh/yr.
