The WindStrom Group was founded in 1992. It plans, builds and operates wind farms in Germany and other European countries. Since then, WindStrom has implemented 412 wind turbines with a total capacity of 832 MW (megawatts) (as of 09/2018). Further continuous growth is expected in the future. The WindStrom Group offers all the services required for this, from the selection of a site to dismantling at the end of the service life of a wind turbine. A particular advantage is that WindStrom offers the entire spectrum from a single source. Experienced project management is used for this, from which all parties involved benefit. When implementing new projects, WindStrom relies on partnership from the very beginning in order to protect the interests of all parties involved. This ensures short construction phases and prompt commissioning of the wind farms. Our employees at our regional locations are familiar with the situation and the local people and have been very well networked there for many years. Today, the Windstrom Group comprises WindStrom Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG for the planning, implementation and financing of wind turbines, WindStrom Service GmbH & Co. KG for commercial management and ENERTRAG WindStrom GmbH for technical management. But wind knows no borders. WindStrom is also driving the expansion of wind energy abroad with its own project offices. In France and Poland, we also follow our philosophy of being local and close to the customer. Further projects are being planned.
