Since 1990, WKN GmbH has been planning, developing, financing and constructing high-class wind energy projects. As one of the pioneers of the German wind scene, the Husum-based company has been one of the leading developers for decades and is also represented in many international markets.
The WKN team consists of renowned wind energy experts who accept each project as a new challenge and strive for the optimal solution together with the project partners and local stakeholders. The pronounced pioneering thinking also led the project developer to the international markets at an early stage. WKN has been building and implementing major projects since 2007. In doing so, the Husum-based company always has its sights set on new growth markets.
WKN consistently relies on long-term strategies and cooperation with local partners. The wind farms planned by WKN will be taken over by well-known national and international corporations, institutional investors and energy suppliers in their portfolios and will continue to be successfully operated by WKN.
The range of services ranges from site evaluation and development to planning, financing, turnkey construction and operation to the commercial and technical management of the wind farms. In order for WKN to be able to position itself even more strongly on the markets in the future, the existing product portfolio will be supplemented by services. The focus will be on the areas of financial services, wind planning services, construction, operations management, repowering and energy supply.
