Wind Energy Repowering Project Law in East Germany – Entry into the Advanced Approval Phase
It offers advanced wind energy repowering project law in eastern Germany. The project is in the status of In Approval and provides for a 3 to 3 repowering.
The existing capacity is 1.8 MW. The plan is to replace it with three new Enercon turbines with a total of 16.68 MW of planned new capacity. The yield to date is 1.2 GWh p.a.; the possible new yield is given as 46.0 GWh p.a.
The determined potential area within the 5H repowering zone allows an optimized shift of the new turbine positions to the west. The aim of the planning is to increase the distance to the surrounding residential development. A TR6-compliant yield report is also available for the project.
The plots for the new plants have already been secured by lease agreements. The application for approval according to §16b BImSchG has been submitted, the completeness has been confirmed by the authorities and the approval of the municipality has been obtained. The application was examined by the specialist authorities; the draft permit is currently being prepared.
The route planning for the secured grid connection point has been completed. The access route planning is also being drawn up. Further project information, site details and documents are provided only upon qualified request.
