Onshore wind project law with a secure state of development in Brandenburg
An onshore wind project right in Brandenburg is up for grabs. The project has a project area of 85.38 ha and is at an advanced stage of development.
Currently, 71 areas with a total of 106.08 ha are contractually secured. This results in four contractually secured potential sites with a capacity of 28.8 MW. Two of these locations already have planning rights within the framework of a positive preliminary decision pursuant to §9 para. 1a BImSchG.
The total potential is six wind turbines with 7.2 MW each, or 43.2 MW. The wind potential at the site is 5.98 m/s at 100 m, 6.69 m/s at 140 m and 7.26 m/s at 180 m hub height.
In the area of environmental and species protection, the investigations into avifauna and biotopes have already been completed. Investigations into bats, amphibians and reptiles are currently underway. As things stand, there are no known insurmountable effects.
The development is progressively secured via farm roads as well as federal and district roads. Two substations are being considered for grid connection; reservations are currently being processed.
The economic framework includes a yield-based lease of 5.0% to 11.0% and an annual minimum rent of €30,000 to €97,000 per wind turbine.
