Attractive wind project law in eastern Germany for 10 wind turbines and 70 MW

An attractive onshore wind project right in eastern Germany is offered. The project is in the In Development state. The approval status is in preparation. Ten wind turbines with a total capacity of 70 MW are planned. The sales model is an asset deal.

The potential area of the project currently covers approx. 191.45 ha. The distance of the project to surrounding residential buildings in local locations is at least 1,000 m and to the residential development in the outskirts at least 750 m. As a result, immissions from the planned wind turbines can be kept tolerable according to the current state of planning.

For the new planning of the wind turbines, 19 parcels with a total of approx. 275.77 ha were secured by means of usage contracts. The planned wind turbine sites are located on areas used for forestry.

As part of the preliminary decision procedure pursuant to Section 9 (1a) of the Federal Immission Control Act, positive decisions were received in January 2025 for the admissibility of a total of ten wind turbines under planning law.

The potential grid feed-in point is a 110 kV overhead line running northeast approx. 5.0 km as the crow flies with a new substation to be built. A daily statement on the grid compatibility assessment by the grid operator is available. The grid connection reservation has been made.

The project is basically accessible via farm roads. These have a connection to a local road in the north, to a district road in the south and to a district road in the west of the project. The development of the planned wind turbines has not yet been conclusively secured in terms of use law.

Mapping results are available. According to current knowledge, there are no known insurmountable environmental impacts.

The wind speed at 175 m is estimated to be 6.50 m/s based on 3 km x 3 km cells.
