The new Google Maps in wind energy - for German wind turbines

published on 17/12/2021

You want to go to a certain place, but don't know exactly where it is? No problem: you simply enter the location into Google Maps and see exactly where it is on the map.

The same procedure is applied to wind-turbine.com's new tool, the visualized "market master data register". Are you looking for a specific wind turbine model or do you want to know, what innovations there have been in terms of new construction or decommissioning recently? No problem, thanks to the various filters you can customize your search.

Since the "Market Master Data Register" is an official online database, all operators of wind turbines must register there. This means, that you will not miss any wind energy market master data during your search.

You start your entry on a wind turbine map of Germany and can use a filter to select in which federal state (Hesse, Bavaria, Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia) you want to narrow down your search for a wind turbine. The offshore wind turbines are also marked on the wind energy map Germany in the North Sea and Baltic Sea.

The visualized wind turbine map is the result of a cooperation of different stakeholders of the wind industry and will be further elaborated and optimized. Feedback and ideas are explicitly desired.

One of the partners is Nefino GmbH, with whose support further filter functions have been established. If you want to use the tool completely, you will receive data on building height restrictions, priority areas or distance to single residential buildings.

From an appealingly designed map with wind turbines you get valuable information about operators of wind turbines or wind farms.

Start directly with your first search and do not hesitate to contact us if you want to have access to all filter functions.
