Founded in 1996, ABO Wind AG is one of Germany's experienced project developers for wind, solar and bioenergy. To date, the company has connected around 700 turbines with a capacity of 1,700 megawatts to the grid throughout Europe. ABO Wind is now also planning in South and North America as well as Africa and currently has around 4,000 megawatts planned worldwide. Every year, 550 employees implement projects with an investment volume of more than 300 million euros. The second important business area in addition to project planning is wind farm management. Experienced specialists take care of the systems on a long-term basis, offering technical and commercial management, inspections, testing, service and maintenance from a single source. ABO Wind is also working on hybrid energy systems that combine various renewable energies with storage technologies.
